Conditioning (24 Hours)

Drying (120–140°C | 5–6 Hours)

Eliminates moisture and prevents moth emergence or mold.

Conditioning (40–60 Hours)

Restores flexibility and prevents brittleness during reeling.

Storage

Stored in cool, dry ventilated environments with monitored humidity.

Peeling

Outer floss layer removed, retaining clean inner cocoon shell.

Sorting

Graded by size, color, and quality for uniform filament thickness.

09

Cooking

Softened using hot water to loosen sericin gum binding filaments.

Reeling

Filaments unwound in hot water, combined to desired yarn thickness.

Raw Silk

Final output: glossy raw silk yarn ready for twisting, weaving, dyeing.
